My present research projects are focused on the cultural politics of food: one looks at Australian native food products and discourses of nature, Indigenous culture, nationalism and heritage; the other is on queer theory, gender/sexuality and vegetarianism.
I am currently resident in Phnom Penh, where I work in an advisory capacity on heritage issues. I welcome contact from researchers working on Cambodian culture, heritage and politics.
